Round I of the Olympiad

This morning, Round I of the Olympiad took place, during which young mathematicians from 15 regions of Southern Russia and 10 foreign countries were asked to solve four problems.

As in previous years, in 2019, the Caucasus Mathematical Olympiad is held in two leagues:

 - Junior League:  students of Grades 8-9 in the Russian Federation and the corresponding grades in participating countries;

 - Senior league:  students of Grades 10-11 in the Russian Federation and the corresponding grades in participating countries.

The list of invited students from the Russian Federation has been published

The list of Russian students invited by the Coordination council to participate in the Olympiad has been published on our website.

The lists were sent to the regional departments of education. All participants can confirm their participation via email before March 7, 2019.

All participants arrive at the Olympiad as a part of the delegation of their region. The delegation consists of students and a team leader.  

 

The Information Letter about the IV Caucasus Mathematical Olympiad Has Been Issued

The Fourth Caucasus Mathematical Olympiad will take place on March 15-20, 2019, in Maykop, Republic of Adygea (Russian Federation).

The organizers of the Olympiad are Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Adygea and Caucasus Mathematical Center at Adyghe State University.

The Olympiad is organized with the support of the Presidential Grants Foundation.

Results of III Caucasus Mathematical Olympiad

On March 15-20, Maykop hosted III Caucasus Mathematical Olympiad. There were 91 participants from 15 regions of the South of Russia and four foreign countries.

The goal of the Olympiad is to create a cultural and educational space that unites regions of Southern Russia and countries of the Caucasus region and the Black Sea, to form and strengthen friendships among school children who are interested in Math from Russia and other countries.

III Caucasus Mathematical Olympiad

The third Caucasus Mathematical Olympiad will take place on March 15-20, 2018, in Maykop, Republic of Adygea. The organizers of the Olympiad are Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Adygea and Adyghe State University.

The International Olympiad for secondary school students “Caucasus Mathematical Olympiad” was founded in 2015 by the initiative of Daud Mamiy, Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Sciences at Adyghe State University. The founder of the Olympiad was a non-profit partnership Center for new technologies in education “Matema.” The first Olympiad took place in the 2015-2016 academic year at “Sirius” Education center (Sochi, Russian Federation). School children from 15 regions of Southern Russia participated in that Olympiad.
